Ulta-cool victorian image. Not sure how they did the ghost but I love it!

Really cool image! The technique's actually not very difficult. It involves a long shutter time. The person who plays the ghost stands there for a couple of seconds and then quickly steps or runs away. That way the last few seconds the background is captured instead of the person, thus creating the transparent ghostly look. I did something similar in this self-portrait: http://www.flickr.com/photos/admortemfestinamus/474488297/ There's no photoshop involved. Mystery solved ;-)
Welcome to Kris Dickinson's "A Nostalgic Halloween"
Thank you for visiting A Nostalgic Halloween. I have loved this holiday since I was a small child. I love the decorations, costumes, trick-or-treating, parties and all the joys of this wonderful, fall holiday. I've created this blog to showcase my original art, decorations, favorite sites and information about Halloween (nothing too scary, though!) I also post Halloween Ephemera to share. I hope you enjoy a trip back through yesteryear....Happy Haunting!
