I love the architecture of these old homes. The intricate beauty of the "lace work" (must be a better term for this) reflected the love for ornamentation back in those days. Wouldn't it be a blast to spend a dark stormy night in there! Great pic.
Welcome to Kris Dickinson's "A Nostalgic Halloween"
Thank you for visiting A Nostalgic Halloween. I have loved this holiday since I was a small child. I love the decorations, costumes, trick-or-treating, parties and all the joys of this wonderful, fall holiday. I've created this blog to showcase my original art, decorations, favorite sites and information about Halloween (nothing too scary, though!) I also post Halloween Ephemera to share. I hope you enjoy a trip back through yesteryear....Happy Haunting!

Wow! I would love to visit that house. Don't know if I'd stay all night though.
Oh wow, that place is gorgeous...and definitely would have to be haunted! Thanks so much for posting the pic. xo
Love this photo! It's so interesting to see how it looked back in the day, though thankfully Disneyland hasn't made that many changes to it.
To this day, it is still my favorite ride and I always make sure to visit it at least once during Halloween season!
